Turkish clothing and footwear brands are in talks to open stores in Russia
Turkish clothing and footwear brands in the mass market segment Twist, Mudo, İpekyol are already negotiating with Russian operators to open their retail outlets in Russia, Izvestia writes, citing information from Surenkok Moscow, which promotes Turkish business in Russia.
According to the head of Surenkok Moscow, Omyur Surenkok, the brands are going to deploy a wide retail network. Each company plans to open more than 100 stores in Moscow and Russian regions.
Turkish brands will start selling in Russia from the autumn-winter 2022 season. The opening of new stores of Turkish brands in Russia should be expected in six months.
It is worth noting that the Turkish brand Twist already has its own online store in Russia, where shoes for women are presented - sneakers and boots priced from 6500 to 8500 rubles.
