The American sneaker brand New Balance and the American designer Salehe Bemberi, who creates luxury items in the street-style style and is the vice president in charge of sneakers and men's shoes at Versace, have released another collaboration.

He used earthy hues and vibrant colors, trying to convey the natural mood in both the design and the colors of the pieces. The functionality of the new 574 YURT sneaker model is added by the presence of a whistle in the shoe construction, from the point of view of Saleh, an important element of hiking equipment that should not be forgotten when going on the road.

“To be honest, initially there were no whistle experts among us. At New Balance, however, we value functionality at every level, so our team is dedicated to finding the right balance between visual appeal and functionality. The main thing was to make sure that the sound of the whistle remained as it should, and after a long day on your feet! Says Yenny Hsieh, senior technical designer for shoe design at New Balance.
According to her, in addition to the whistle, a number of technically complex elements were also used in the design of the model. The company tried to combine a historical canvas with something unusual, which would allow to apply technologies that are not already used in an unusual way and at the same time bypass certain production restrictions.
