New Balance Releases New Collaboration With Salehe Bembury
Photos have emerged of a new collaboration between New Balance and New York designer Saleh Bembury, a luxury streetwear designer who is vice president of sneakers and men's footwear at Versace and has been designing for one of Crocs' shoe lines since 2023.
Saleh Beberi's collaboration with New Balance has been going on for several years now, and this time the American sneaker brand invited the designer to work his magic on the archival NB 1000 sneaker model and received a rather original design that stands out for its choice of colors.
Here, an aquamarine upper is combined with green suede inserts, all of which is diluted with splashes of details in shades of bright red, brown, and light green. The translucent “N” logo is framed in green. The insole is made of cork, and Bembury’s full name is indicated on the pink tag under the side collar.
A release date for the Salehe Bembury x New Balance 1000 has not yet been announced.
