New Balance Releases Made In USA Collection

American sports brand New Balance has unveiled its Spring 2026 Made in USA collection. It includes apparel and footwear, including iconic New Balance models such as the 990v4, 992, 993, and 1300.

The shoe design emphasizes color, with models available in a variety of shades. The Made In USA apparel and footwear collection will launch globally in five phases. The first batch will launch on February 26th and will include styles priced from $185 to $220 for shoes and $65 to $285 for apparel.

The launch of a collection that highlights New Balance's localized production in the United States reflects the American company's initiative to develop footwear manufacturing domestically. New Balance claims to be the "only" major athletic footwear manufacturer to maintain production in the United States.

In its social initiatives report released late last year, the company announced a $155 million investment in expanding its U.S. manufacturing capacity, beginning in 2021. The funds are intended to implement advanced technologies and preserve the high craftsmanship that has defined the company's shoemaking heritage since 1938.

New Balance operates four factories in the United States, primarily in New England. Two are located in Maine, one in Skowhegan and one in Norway, and two are in Massachusetts, one in Lawrence and one in Methuen. A fifth factory in Londonderry, New Hampshire, is scheduled to open in early 2026.

The report notes that the footwear company will contribute $3,1 billion to the U.S. economy in 2024, up 23% from $2,5 billion in 2023. The company stated that $479 million of this amount comes from its U.S.-based operations. Its U.S. facilities employ more than 5000 people, including 1200 employees engaged in the production of U.S.-based products.
