Nike collaborates with NASA

Nike is partnering with NASA and the US Department of State to create a new type of material.

Nike has announced its intention to launch a project to develop a new type of eco-friendly material for shoes. To this end, Nike will collaborate with NASA, the US Department of State and the US Agency for International Development.

Within the framework of the project, the Nike team will monitor the activities of fabric manufacturers and analyze the results obtained in order to get a clear idea of ​​the amount of resources they spend. Then, prospects for the development of the industry will be compiled and, apparently, chemical scientists will be involved to develop recyclable fabric that requires a minimum amount of resources.
