Nike and Adidas launch 3D print sneakers

Manufacturers of sports goods Nike and Adidas almost simultaneously announced the launch of mass 3D shoe printing on demand and personal parameters of customers. Nike was the first to announce this, and a few hours later, Adidas released a statement about 3D printing technology called Futurecraft 3D, which allows you to design soles on 3D printers based on the individual characteristics of the feet.
Recall that quite recently, a revolutionary novelty was Nike's patented technology for making knitted Flyknit sneakers, which allows you to avoid overlaying unnecessary layers and thereby reduce the weight of the sneakers. The first sneaker created in 2012 with this technology weighs 160 grams, of which only 34 grams are used on the upper.
