The popular model of Nike sneakers - Cortez is now available in a new version, on a platform sole. And the design of this model, aptly named "Unlocked By You" on the Nike website, can be customized to your liking.
A potential buyer can choose from 16 different design options, one or another appearance, upper, tongue, toe, heel, including various colors and materials, at the touch of a button.
With a 3D construction set, shoppers can choose (mix and match) distressed leather, metallic leather and suede materials to create the sneaker. Additional changes can be made to the platform sole height, the iconic Nike logo, and lace closures, including fancy ribbon lacing.
Whether you add initials or lettering, each shoe is handcrafted with the utmost care. For more customization options, customers can even put their name on the box. Customizable sneakers are priced at $130.
Nike released the Cortez in 1972, and the silhouette immediately became iconic. The Cortez has been featured in films and shows such as Forrest Gump and Charlie's Angels.
