Nike unveiled its first virtual sneakers

The first virtual sneakers of the sports giant Nike were created in collaboration with Rtfkt Studio and presented on the Ethereum blockchain.

Nike's token sneakers are styled after the Nike Dunk, which was first introduced as a dedicated basketball shoe in the 1980s and has since become a staple in the skateboarding community.

The RTFKT x Nike Dunk Cryptokicks comes in eight colorways. The price of a virtual pair at the time of creation of the material on Opensea.io is approximately 2,829 ETH (or $8). For some copies, the company set a price of 383,60 ETH (no less than half a million US dollars).
