Nike launched an application on a smartphone that allows you to choose the right shoe size without trying on

The new Nike Fit app is installed on your smartphone. The principle of the service is extremely simple - the user selects a shoe model in the Nike online store and clicks on the Fit button. Then he stands with his heels against the wall in socks of a contrasting floor color and scans the foot using a smartphone camera.

Artificial intelligence will calculate the exact size of the shoe. Measurement data obtained by Nike Fit will be stored in the app for future purchases. It will be possible to store more than one pair in memory, thus facilitating online shopping for all family members.

It is assumed that the Nike Fit application will reduce the number of refunds of shoes purchased in the online store due to the wrong size.

In Nike's branded stores, the service will be presented in the form of a special rug-scanner, which will facilitate the choice of the right size in retail.
