Re: Store Retail Group, which develops mono-brand networks of re: Store (Apple), Nokia, Samsung, Sony Center and Lego, will try its hand at a new retail direction. As it became known to the Vedomosti newspaper, the company received the rights to open franchise stores for Nike sportswear and footwear.

According to Tikhon Smykov, CEO of re: Store Retail Group, the contract is currently at the final stage of signing. The launch of the first Nike store is scheduled for summer 2012, and 3-4 outlets are expected to open by the end of this year.

Within three years, the new partner Nike expects to build a network of 15 branded stores with a sales area of ​​about 300 square meters. “By format, the stores that Nike partners open are unified. But we hope that ours will be distinguished by the quality of the design and the high qualifications of the sellers, ”Smykov comments.

As of April 30, 2012 re: Store Retail Group manages more than 60 re: Store Apple Premium Reseller stores in Russia, 25 in Europe, as well as about 60 stores of other brands. The company's sales revenue in fiscal 2011 amounted to $ 393 million, an increase of 60% over the year, malls.ru writes.
