New Sacai x Birkenstock collaboration in Paris
Sacai unveiled its latest footwear partnership at its Spring/Summer 2027 show in Paris on Sunday. The collaboration between the brands resulted in the creation of two new sandal models.
The first new release is a cross between the Birkenstock Madrid sandal, featuring a single strap and a large buckle, and the Birkenstock Arizona sandal, featuring the German brand's signature square buckles. The result is the Aoyama 107, named after the iconic Sacai store in Tokyo's sophisticated Aoyama district.
The second model, dubbed the Cassette 75, combines the Arizona sandal with the Boston clog. This design pays homage to Sacai's Paris headquarters, located on Rue Cassette in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés.
Crafted from premium Birkenstock genuine leather and suede and built on the brand's iconic leather-wrapped cork-latex footbed, the collection comes in a palette of taupe and black.
Completing the collection is the Birkenstock x Sacai bucket bag, available in two sizes and crafted from the same premium leather and suede as the shoes.
The bag features an adjustable strap and a square Birkenstock buckle. To match the shoes, this bag is available in beige and black.
The new Birkenstock x Sacai collaboration is expected to launch globally in spring 2027.
