Maians shoes are sewn by craftsmen in the traditional way, by hand, and only in Spain. In production, only natural materials are used - cotton, linen, wool, suede - locally produced, capable of withstanding the hottest temperatures and the most severe winters. The local Zapatillieros create Maians using centuries of shoemaking skills and know-how. Each pair is handcrafted using a vulcanization method in which the upper part of the garment is connected to the sole by heating natural rubber granules. Natural rubber provides the shoe with softness and comfort, while the natural composition allows the sole to breathe, thus preserving the health of the feet and the environment.
