Supreme former creative director creates his own brand of running shoes Aprix
The American brand Supreme is known for its jackets, windbreakers and semi-sport style t-shirts, which are distinguished by their non-standard design and bright colors. However, in 2000, Supreme had an attempt to launch its own shoe line, in addition to which the brand’s track record included a number of collaborations with shoe brands such as Nike, Vans, Timberland and Clarks. One of the former creative directors of the brand, Brandon Babenzien, decided to take advantage of this experience at Supreme and released a line of sneakers under the Aprix brand.
The goal of the new brand was to create new models of semi-sports shoes for every day that would be worn as easily as, for example, the classic Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star or Vans Era sneakers.
There are currently two models in the Aprix line. The first model was created based on football sneakers, the second one is more reminiscent of classic tennis shoes.
The retail price for both models is $ 225 and $ 188.
