By the 2016 year, the volume of the fashion retail market in the CIS countries will grow by 18% to 141 billion dollars (from 119 billion dollars in 2013 year), analysts of the Internet retailer Lamoda say. At the same time, the share of the online component will reach 15%, or 21,2 billion dollars, against 5,1% and 6,1 billion last year.
Lamoda specializes in the sale of clothing and footwear and operates in Russia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine. According to the retailer, the number of unique users of her online store in 2013 amounted to about 100 million people, with 13% of visitors coming from mobile platforms. The retailer has more than 1 million active users, the number of processed orders exceeded 2,3 million.
