The share of shadow footwear production in Russia of the total output in 2013 was 41%. Such data are presented in the study "Analysis of the footwear market in Russia", prepared by BusinesStat in 2014. According to the same data, the share of shadow imports in the total supply of products to the country in 2013 reached 58,8%. Thus, the volume of counterfeit products on the footwear market exceeded 560 million pairs, which is 47,6% of the total supply.
