The volume of construction of new shopping centers in St. Petersburg continues to decline. According to Veronika Lezhneva, director of the research department at Colliers International in St. Petersburg, last year the total supply of retail space in high-quality shopping centers in St. Petersburg reached 2,6 million square meters. m. Nevertheless, Petersburg is still one of the most saturated trading areas of Russian cities, giving way only to Samara. Moscow takes the fourth position in the list of cities with the highest level of supply of retail space.
