Obuv Rossii Group of Companies has opened the first Westfalika store in Yakutsk. In the next two years Obuv Rossii plans to launch five more retail outlets in this city. Investments in the opening of one store amount to 13-15 million rubles, taking into account the inventory.
The Far East is an important region for Obuv Rossii Group of Companies: it is one of the five leaders in terms of turnover among the company's regional offices. In the Far East, 23 stores are already operating in the Amur Region, Khabarovsk and Primorsky Territories, the Jewish Autonomous Region, Kamchatka and Sakhalin.
The incomes of the population of the Republic of Sakha (the largest region of Russia) exceed the average level in Russia; therefore, the region is promising in terms of the development of shoe retail. In recent years, there has been an increase in the share of federal and global shoe networks in the district, which indicates the attractiveness of the regional shoe market.
The development of new regions is part of the Obuv Rossii Group's program for the development of the network for 2014. This year the company will increase investments in store openings by 50% - up to 1,5 billion rubles, and will launch more than 120 new retail outlets throughout Russia. According to the results of the first half of the year, Obuv Rossii has already opened more than 50 stores and entered such new cities as Yaroslavl, Lesosibirsk, Volgograd, Volzhsky, Norilsk, Ulyanovsk, Shadrinsk, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Arsenyev, and Samara.
