In mid-May, Obuv Rossii opened the first Westfalika store in Surgut. During the year, the company plans to open four more stores in this city with a population of 300 thousand people.
Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug is an important region for Obuv Rossii Group of Companies. According to Maya Fedorchenko, head of the regional retail department of Obuv Rossii Group of Companies, the small number of federal players and high incomes of the population make it especially attractive for the development of shoe retail. In the coming years, the company plans to expand its network in the district to 9 points and open stores in Nizhnevartovsk and Nyagan.
The Tyumen Region, which includes the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, is one of the three leaders in terms of turnover among the company's regional offices. Today there are 14 Westfalika stores in the region.
According to the network development program for 2013, the company will open more than 60 stores throughout Russia. New regions for Obuv Rossii will be the Trans-Baikal Territory, the Republic of Buryatia, the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Arkhangelsk and Murmansk Regions. In total, investments in the development of the chain in 2013 will be 2,3 times higher than investments in opening stores in 2012 and will amount to 700 million rubles.
