Obuv Rossii will expand production in Cherkessk

Obuv Rossii GC plans to double production in Cherkessk. The company has already begun the search for additional premises with an area of ​​1000-1200 sq.m to accommodate the second production line.

Shoes from ultralight EVA polymer material will be produced at the new site. Work on equipping the new workshop should be completed by the end of the 2015 year.

Now the first production line is operating in Cherkessk, which Obuv Rossii launched at the end of 2014. The area of ​​rented premises is 560 sq.m. Currently, the line produces summer and demi-season leather shoes, the production volume is 5 thousand pairs of shoes per month. Products manufactured in Cherkessk are sold in Shoe stores of Russia throughout the country.

Shoes made of EVA polymer material, which are planned to be released in Cherkessk, are a promising direction in modern shoe production. “In the spring of 2014, we launched an automated production facility for EVA footwear in Novosibirsk. In February 2015, they completely switched to Russian granulate for the production of such shoes. - comments the director of the Obuv Rossii Group of Companies Anton Titov. - Now we make summer, garden and beach shoes from EVA material, we have released the first batch of walking shoes with ultra-light soles.

At the same time, Obuv Rossii is building a main production complex in the northern part of the city of Cherkessk. To date, all preparatory work on the project has been carried out, a positive conclusion of the state examination has been received. The company also negotiates with large banks on long-term investment financing of the project.
