"Shoes of Russia" in profit

The Obuv Rossii Group of Companies has summed up its financial results for 9 months of 2012. The company's revenue for this period amounted to 1,81 billion rubles, an increase in relation to the same period in 2011 - 58%.

Net profit increased 2,8 times to RUB 189 million. EBITDA amounted to RUB 305 million, an increase of 97%. EBITDA margin - 16,85% (for nine months of 2011 - 13,46%).

In the third quarter Obuv Rossii announced a number of investment projects in the field of production development. The company will build a new production and logistics complex in the city of Ob, Novosibirsk region. This will allow expanding production in Novosibirsk from 350 thousand pairs to 500 thousand pairs of shoes per year, the total area of ​​the distribution center will triple. Obuv Rossii will also invest 1,4 billion rubles in opening a shoe factory in Cherkessk. The project has already received approval from the Ministry of Regional Development of the Russian Federation, the press service of the company reports.
