Dr. Martens shoes lost weight

British brand Dr. Martens, known for his heavy boots this fall, decided to "lose weight." The new model of the DM's Lite brand is classic martens, but much lighter in weight than those grunge boots that we remember from the 90s. The new collection retained the key characteristics of the brand, such as comfort and durability, while adding such quality as lightness, which was achieved through the use of an ultra-light insole made of filon.

The collection is represented by three key models - high boots, low shoes and loafers in black and cherry leather.

The signature features of the brand - yellow stitching and grooved sole have not disappeared anywhere and remain key design elements of Dr. Martens. New collection of shoes - unisex. The models have already gone on sale in the brand's branded boutiques and some partner retail stores around the world. The retail price for the shoes ranges from $ 105 to $ 125.

Recall that the history of the brand Dr. Martens began in 1960 with the release of today's legendary hovercraft shoes, which was developed in 1945 by German inventor co-founder of the brand, Dr. Klaus Mertens, to provide support and comfort for his injured leg. Initially, shoes of this brand were mostly worn by workers. It took several decades before the brand Dr. Martens attracted the attention of progressive youth, musicians and artists, and became a cult.
