GEOX shoes will be checked for safety

In the 2015 year, GEOX goes to a new level and signs an agreement with the German concern TÜV SÜD (Technische Überwachungs-Verein, "Association for Technical Supervision"), the world's largest expert engaged in independent examination and certification of products.

  • detergents (alkynophenols);

  • preservatives (chlorinated phenols, tin compounds, dimethyl fumarate);

  • non-combustible substances (PAHs);

  • smells.

The result of TÜV SÜD certification can now be seen in all GEOX stores - models that have successfully passed the toxic substances test are marked with a special TÜV SÜD Footwear Mark.

The company plans to conduct over 2 million GEOX shoe tests annually. Tests will be held for all commodity units of men's, women's and children's shoes.
