“Shoes of Russia” modernizes production

In 2016-2018 Obuv Rossii invests 300 million rubles in the modernization of a cutting and sewing workshop at a factory in the Novosibirsk Region

The first step was the acquisition of two sets of Orisol automated sewing systems, as well as an embroidery complex. New equipment will arrive at the factory in May this year. After the launch of new machines, the capacity of the sewing workshop will increase to 200 thousand pairs of shoes per year.

Orisol is an Israeli company, one of the leaders in the world market for the production of sewing complexes, along with the German Pfaff. Production is based in Israel and Taiwan. “Orisol equipment is a new type of machine, they operate on a fundamentally new technology for shoe production. Orisol systems allow you to sew complex models of shoes, the top of which consists of many elements and is assembled from materials of different textures, for example, half-style shoes and sports shoes. The productivity of such systems is six times higher than that of traditional sewing machines; at the same time, the quality of tailoring the shoe upper is much better, ”comments Sergey Jung, general director of the Obuv Rossii production company.

Now, at two production sites of the company located in the Novosibirsk region, shoes are produced with the main types of sole attachment - glue, molding and combined. In 2016, Obuv Rossii plans to launch a new production line for safety shoes and to master a new technology for attaching soles - the method of hot vulcanization of rubber on a workpiece.

The Obuv Rossii group of companies is one of the five largest footwear retailers in the country, and is the leader in the mid-price segment of the footwear market. The group was founded in 2003, the head office is located in Novosibirsk. The main business areas of the Group are footwear production, retail and wholesale of footwear and related goods. Obuv Rossii develops five shoe chains: Westfalika (mono-brand, mid-price segment), Pedestrian (multi-brand shoe supermarket), Emilia Estra (shoes boutique), Rossita (store for the whole family) and Lisette (fashion shoe salons). The retail network has over 450 stores in over 100 cities. The company's revenue in 2015 according to RAS amounted to 9 billion rubles, net profit - 1,3 billion rubles.
