Obuv Rossii GC has summed up the financial results of its work in the 1 quarter of 2016 according to RAS. The company's revenue increased by 11% and amounted to 1,98 billion rubles, net profit amounted to 234 million rubles, an increase compared to the same period of the 2015 year was 3,2%.
The company also noted an increase in acquiring sales, that is, using payment cards. In February-March of 2016, they increased by 140% or 2,4 times. Now the share of non-cash payments in the company's retail revenue is 18%.
Obuv Rossii demonstrated the growth in key indicators, which was achieved by adapting the assortment to changes in consumer preferences, developing related products under its own brands, introducing new services for customers and increasing its own production volumes. Own production allows the company to reduce foreign exchange and import risks, reduce logistics costs, enter new markets, be more mobile in forming its assortment, and test new materials and technologies. According to experts, in the 1 quarter, the situation in the shoe market began to stabilize.
