Obuv Rossii and URALSIB Bank completed a project to launch the issuance of MasterCard cards. Thus, Obuv Rossii GC strengthens the direction of providing financial services for its customers, which was launched by the company in 2015.
Non-profit partnership “Payment Standard”, which is part of the Obuv Rossii group of companies, with the support of URALSIB Bank, completed a project to join the international payment system MasterCard and started issuing Arithmetic prepaid cards with an attached electronic wallet.
At the first stage, Arithmetic cards will be available in Westfalika, Lisette, Rossita, Emilia Estra and Pedestrian stores operated by Obuv Rossii, which will comprise more than 450 outlets in more than 100 cities of Russia.
In the future, it is planned to connect the loyalty program to the Arithmetic system and expand its distribution to other retail chains.
Obuv Rossii launched its own Arithmetic financial services system in June 2015, when a cashier payment service was introduced in the company's stores. In September 2015, Arithmetic became an affiliate member of the MasterCard international payment system. In February 2016, on the basis of Arithmetic, a new service was launched for customers - an electronic wallet.
The Arithmetica card is a discount card for chain stores: Westfalika, Emilia Estra, Pedestrian Footwear Factory, Rossita, Lisette. Holders of Arithmetica cards get the opportunity to pay for various types of services at the cash desks of stores, creating payment templates (cellular communication, Internet, loan payments, etc.) In addition, they can purchase goods in these stores by installments for a period of 3 to 10 months ...
As we wrote earlier, the “Installment plan” project in the Obuv Rossii group of companies is developing quite successfully. According to the company, over the 5 months of the 2016 year, the company issued over 216 thousand installment agreements worth more than 1,62 billion rubles. The growth relative to the same period last year amounted to 6% in the number of executed contracts and 12% in the amount of contracts. The installment share in retail revenue is also increasing: in 2016, it amounted to 58%, which is 2,6% higher than last year. Following the 2015 year, installment sales amounted to 4,4 billion rubles.
