In Japan, an innovative GPS shoe developed by Wishhills went on sale. The GPS system is placed in the heel of the shoe and allows relatives or medical workers, after registering on a special website and receiving a password online, to receive information on the location or movement of the owner on the screen of a smartphone or computer. As conceived by the developers, such shoes are useful for sick old people or children who can get lost in the bustle of a big city.
