The Avito online resale platform presented statistics on sales of various categories of goods for 2022, according to which the most popular on Avito were products from the Clothing, Shoes and Accessories category. Sales in this category in 2022 grew by 83% compared to the same period last year, Vedomosti cites Avito analysts.
In terms of the share of sales, women's clothing is in the lead - 40%, men's clothing amounted to 19%. The average purchase receipt in the category "Clothes, shoes and accessories" amounted to 3530 rubles. In the period from March to November, platform users actively bought goods from “brands that left Russia,” such as Zara, Massimo Dutti, Adidas, Nike, H&M, Rebook and others.
In the ranking of the most popular products, children's clothing and footwear are in second place, with sales growth of 46%. Children's products and toys were also popular, with sales of these products up 30%.
