AFI Development announces the receipt of final permits for the operating activities of the shopping and entertainment center in Moscow City. The complex called "AFIMall City" was opened on March 17, 2011.
Initially, about 160 stores will operate in the mall. The opening ceremony of the AFIMall City shopping center, one of the largest shopping malls in Moscow, is scheduled for May 2011.
The opening of the AfiMall City shopping center (formerly Mall of Russia) was originally planned for the fourth quarter of 2009, but the date was postponed several times. The total area of the complex will be 180 000 square. m, the shopping gallery will contain about 400 stores.
Among the tenants of the shopping center were signed stores of the Inditex Group, Uniqlo, American Eagle, H&M, Marks & Spencer, GAP, as well as the Formula Kino cinema, Green Crossroads, Snezhnaya Koroleva, Lady & Gentlemen City, etc. 395 stores were opened.
