The office of the online store of the largest retailer Lamoda was searched. According to several media reports, this is due to numerous violations in the processing of goods at customs.
Lamoda representatives said they were unaware of the reasons for the inspection by law enforcement agencies in the company's Moscow office. "We conduct an honest and open policy and strive to provide the best level of service and pleasure from shopping to millions of people throughout Russia. We have no idea about the cause of the events and are ready to cooperate with the competent authorities in full," the company said in a statement.
Recall that the online store Lamoda, specializing in the sale of clothing, was launched in 2011 year. Among the investors of the online retailer are Access Industries Leonard Blavatnik, Holtzbrinck Ventures, Kinnevik, International Finance Corporation and others.
Lamoda's revenue for the first half of the 2014 year amounted to 3,8 billion rubles. The number of Lamoda users over this period increased year-on-year by 131,6% to 2 million people, the share of active users is 1,4 million people (increase - 98%). Total orders increased by 102,7% to 1,68 million units.
