Olivier Lapidus leaves fashion house Lanvin

The luxury brand Lanvin breaks up with its creative director Olivier Lapidus and CEO Nicolas Druz, due to the fact that the luxury brand changed its owner last month. The French brand was acquired by the Chinese holding Fosun International.

Joann Cheng, president of the Fosun Fashion Group and chairman of the board of directors of Lanvin, was appointed CEO of the fashion house in the shortest possible time.

Druz, who has led Lanvin since 2007 of the year, will take over the position of Managing Director of the Fosun Fashion Group and will be responsible for brand development in Europe.

Lapidus, who was appointed Creative Director of Lanvin in July 2017, is leaving the Fashion House. Lanvin's women's collections will be designed by the Lanvin design team. Olivier Lapidus will resume work on his own brand.
