Simultaneously with the arrival of the new collection, two Philipp Plein boutiques were robbed within 48 hours.

On July 17, the flagship boutique Philipp Plein was robbed in the Belgian town of Knokke. Attackers broke down the door and took things out of the latest collection. The total damage amounted to tens of thousands of euros. A day later, a similarly looted Bond Street boutique in London. Philippe Plein reacted to these events with humor, posting a post on his Instagram account under the hashtag #PPFANLOVE: “No worries when you and your brand are the best, and the models catch the eye of even the most desperate.”

Investigations are underway to capture the perpetrators.
