Online trading accounts for 6% of global retail sales

The volume of purchases made in online stores in 2014 amounted to 5,9% of the total retail turnover - $ 1,3 trillion. Analysts say that by 2018 this figure will reach 8,8%. Already in 2015, the volume of online trade will grow by 21% and amount to 6,7% of all retail sales in the world, or $ 1,59 trillion. By 2018, this figure will increase to $ 2,4 trillion.
