In the 2012 year, the Oodji chain of stores will begin opening its own shoe stores with an area of 40 sq. m. The first of them should earn next August. The network manager, August, is now selecting premises, as well as designers and factories to place orders. Shoes will also be sold in existing Oodji stores specializing in women's and men's clothing (the network has about 400 of its own and franchised outlets).
According to the head of one of the Russian clothing chains, launching his own shoe line will cost Oodji at least $ 3 million. August will not be informed whether shoe stores will open under a separate brand.
