The Ortomoda company has released a collection of special orthopedic footwear for children with disabilities. Shoes under the Smenka brand contain special elements for fixing shoes on the foot, with additional intra-shoe space for an orthopedic insole; in difficult cases, shoes can be made individually in accordance with the prescription of an orthopedic surgeon.
The new collection of shoes was presented at the show during the press conference "Open Lesson: School Fashion of Equal Opportunities", which was held in Moscow at the International Multimedia Center MIA "Russia Today" on August 29. The event also featured a collection of school uniforms for children with disabilities, special (adaptive) clothing created by designer Galina Volkova.
The company "Ortomoda" is a domestic manufacturer of orthopedic footwear and special clothing for people with disabilities, was founded in 2001. The enterprise serves over 15 thousand adults and children annually. It supplies its products to Moscow, the Moscow region and 40 more regions of Russia. Has a network of its own salons in Moscow and the Moscow region. The company employs about 150 people, 19 of whom are disabled. Currently, Ortomoda is implementing a project to build a factory for children's orthopedic footwear in Moscow, which has been classified by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia and the Government of Russia as priority investment projects.
