Diesel founder Renzo Rosso wants to buy Roberto Cavalli

Italian entrepreneur Renzo Rosso is interested in acquiring the luxury brand Roberto Cavalli through his OTB holding. Rosso is one of the founders of the Italian fashion company Diesel, which is headquartered in Breganza, writes Worldfootwear.com.

It is reported that Mr. Rosso is not the only one who is interested in acquiring Roberto Cavalli, several other businessmen have expressed interest in buying the brand.

Cavalli is controlled by Clessidra, a private equity firm that is considering the partial or full sale of the brand. In October, the company confirmed that it is looking for a minority partner who will contribute to the further development of the brand.
