BrandCity Outlet Center opens before New Year
The reconceptual project of the Waymart shopping and entertainment center, where the first BrandCity outlet center in Russia will start operating in the very near future, has entered its final stage.
In the BrandCity outlet center the format is completely changed, a new trading scheme is introduced. BrandCity's tenants will be mono-brand stores of clothing, footwear and accessories of world famous brands. For the first time, a center will appear in Russia, where items from last year's collections of well-known brands will be sold at significant discounts - from 30 to 70%. But not like in discounter stores, but in accordance with the strict standards of European outlet centers - with full compliance with the size range and quality. The new complex provides 70 stores, ranging from 40 to 250 sq. m.
Construction work related to the reconstruction of the shopping and entertainment center is nearing completion. The design of the facade of the building has been updated, the surrounding area has been improved, including the upper and lower parking lots, new complex interior solutions have been made.
BrandCity is currently in active negotiations with potential tenants. Their interest in the project is obvious. According to forecasts, even before the New Year, the occupancy of the outlet-center may reach 70%.
New stores are ready to welcome their customers today. So, on August 20, Samsonite, the world leader in the production of luggage and travel accessories, opened the first and so far the only outlet in Moscow. An agreement was signed with Baldinini, a world famous Italian footwear manufacturer, for the opening of one of the chain's flagship stores in the BrandCity outlet-center. It will be a new format of the corporate showroom, where customers will be presented with more than 1500 models of Baldinini shoes and bags with discounts up to 70%.
During the reconstruction, the Waymart shopping and entertainment center was open to visitors, proving the effectiveness of investment. The technical opening of the already renewed BrandCity outlet-center will take place even before the New Year.
