According to the product descriptions, the model was inspired by the iconic 1997 Prada America's Cup sneaker design.
The Prada x Adidas A + P Luna Rossa 21 is aesthetically reminiscent of the Americas Cup silhouette, but incorporates the latest technology. The upper is made from recycled materials. Additional details include the iconic Prada red racing stripe and the Adidas Trefoil logo. The shoe's design is complemented by a midsole with reinforced cushioning and a heavy-duty Continental rubber outsole. Also, a special packaging is attached to the shoes, which includes a special shoe bag made of technical fabric.
The Prada x Adidas A + P Luna Rossa 21 in Core Black and Matte Silver will be available on July 19th. The sneakers will be available through the Adidas Confirmed app and at select Adidas retailers.
