Since May 1, the ozon.ru Internet marketplace has reduced the commission for its suppliers in a number of product categories, including clothing and footwear. The decrease is up to 10%, and varies depending on the product category and operating scheme of work (shipment from the seller's warehouse or shipment from the Ozon logistics center), writes retail.ru.
“The client wants from us the widest possible range of products, and the marketplace model perfectly solves this problem. Now there are several thousand sellers on the site, and not only our loyal audience of 30 million people helps to attract even more entrepreneurs and companies with different product ranges, but also smart tools for partners - an analytics system, a marketing platform, as well as timely adjustment of the commission size for different categories in accordance with the market ”, - comments Anna Kaleeva, director of the marketplace project at Ozon.
Recall that in March this year, a double reduction in commission (from 38% to 19%) for its partners said and the largest online supermarket in Russia, Wildberries, which also operates according to the marketplace model.
