After New York, London and Milan, Paris Fashion Week opens this coming Monday, September 23. The official program of the Week includes 66 fashion shows, and taking into account the presentations, Paris hosts a total of 106 brands.
Of the previously planned but cancelled shows, it is worth mentioning the Y/Project show, a brand that left the Paris Fashion Week schedule after the recent departure of the company's creative director Glenn Martens. And of the new arrivals at the Week, the Coperni show, which will close Paris Fashion Week on October 1 and will be held at Disneyland.
Also on October 1, Chanel will return to the Grand Palais in Paris with a show, after a four-year break due to the building's reconstruction. But this time, the French fashion house will be presented at Fashion Week for the first time without a creative director, as Virginie Viard, who held the post, left in June.
Valentino will present its first collection on September 29 under the direction of Alessandro Michele, the former star designer of Gucci. - This is the shortest list of highlights of Fashion Week, which also includes catwalk shows from star brands Christian Dior, Saint Laurent, Hermès, Balmain, Balenciaga, Louis Vuitton and others.
