Piquadro Announces Start of Formula 1

Piquadro, the Italian premium brand of accessories, has become an official supplier of accessories and luggage for the Aston Martin Red Bull Racing team during the 2019 World Cup.

The brand provided the team with innovative backpacks and wheeled suitcases from the collection dedicated to the opening of the new season, which will begin on March 15-17 with the Australian Grand Prix. And two star riders from the Aston Martin Red Bull Racing team Max Verstappen and Pierre Gasley became the faces of the Piquadro advertising campaign dedicated to the spring-summer'19 collection.

Urban genuine leather backpack is equipped with Bagmotic technology with a connection to a smartphone. The Piquadro Connequ app connects the backpack to your smartphone via Bluetooth and sends a signal to the luggage owner if it is lost. Inside the backpack is a special Powerbank pocket for inductive charging of the smartphone. In addition, the backpack is equipped with a combination lock and anti-theft equipment and a special compartment for a purse that is protected from scanning via PayPass.

Another accessory created for the Aston Martin Red Bull Racing racing team was the PiQ3 suitcase, made from the latest generation of ultra-light and heavy-duty polycarbonate. Due to the cushioning of the wheels, this suitcase is very quiet, easy to maintain and durable.

“We decided to become partners with the Aston Martin Red Bull Racing Team, because we are their dedicated fans and enjoy every success! In addition, motorsport is very technological, and this is also the essence of the Piquadro brand, which is always in search of more technological standards, ”said Marco Palmieri, founder and president of Piquadro.

By the way, this is the second Piquadro project related to the world of sports. At the end of 2018, the brand also became a partner of the Italian football club Milan.
