The organizer of the Italian menswear show Pitti Uomo Pitti Immagine, which has canceled all offline events in 2020, has announced that the next Pitti session will be held in a regular format, Worldfootwear.com writes.
The next (99 in a row) Pitti Uomo men's fashion show will take place in Florence from 12 to 14 January 2021, and will last one day less than usual. The decision to shorten the duration of the exhibition was caused by the current situation, which the business is changing today. “We look at things realistically and expect that the numbers (number of sellers and buyers) will differ from the previous ones,” said Agostino Poletto, CEO of Pitti Immagine. He added that after monitoring the attendance of previous issues, the board decided to shorten the exhibition by one day, but increase the opening hours for each of the three remaining days of the exhibition.
