Paul Andrew has expanded his personal brand's range.

Designer Paul Andrew, who left his post as creative director of Sergio Rossi earlier this year, has focused on developing his personal brand and expanded its range, adding new handbags and women's footwear for the Spring 2027 season. Men's footwear will also be added to the Paul Andrew collection this season, according to Footwearnews.com.

The collection will be officially presented to buyers and press this week in New York and from May 25 to June 5 in Milan.

Andrew noted that the expansion of the range comes at a positive time for the brand, which he founded in 2013 and relaunched in 2022.

His previous experience at Ferragamo from 2016 to 2021 and at Sergio Rossi, where he joined in 2024 and left earlier this year, proved invaluable. "I really enjoyed making bags," he said. "And I really wanted to be an architect. Shoes have architecture, but the structure of a bag is like an entire building."

Andrew drew inspiration from the metalwork of American furniture designer Paul Evans, developing faceted hardware for the Spring/Summer 2027 collection.

The sculptural form appears as artistic heels on slingbacks, on the front of pointed-toe ballet flats, and as the centerpiece of bags in the collection called "Prism."

This design makes a striking magnetic closure on a soft leather bag in two different sizes, and is also available in snakeleather-embossed calfleather. A more structured design was created in ostrich leather, while roomy totes with internal compartments are available in leather or more summery canvas and raffia options.

The designer also paid attention to pricing, stating that he wants to keep the prices of his bags under $1000.

He plans to apply the same approach to his shoe collection. While the prices of his most exclusive models are uncontroversial, Andrew plans to further enhance the brand's competitiveness by offering a broader price structure. This means expanding the range to include more casual ballet flats, chic loafers, and woven raffia wedges to complement the more sophisticated silhouettes.

Andrew will strengthen his presence in Europe through a collaboration with Cuoio di Toscana, a leading Tuscan leather shoemaker. In addition to women's styles, this collaboration marks his brand's entry into the men's footwear market. The collection will include men's versions of existing silhouettes, such as draped loafers in soft leather, finished with a silver zipper.
