On July 1, amendments to the Law on Cash Register Technology (CCP) entered into force, which in real time transfers all data to the Federal Tax Service (FTS). Now consumers have the opportunity to receive checks electronically by e-mail and via SMS.
According to Kommersant, the first days of the entry into force of the law "On KKT" passed without a hitch. Although at the moment, not all retailers have connected new equipment due to the shortage of new cash registers. So by July 1, about three quarters of existing retail outlets began to use online cash registers. According to the Federal Tax Service, as of June 28, more than 850 thousand new cash register units were registered out of 1,15 million operating cash registers.
Retailers also note that the new service that enables customers to receive information from a check online is not yet in demand. The reasons are the low awareness of customers, as well as their reluctance to voice their phone number and email address at the box office.
