The Russian shoe brand Portal has created a capsule collection for shop of Russian designers "Section" in the capital's GUM. The collection includes 6 shoe models, the design of which was inspired by the graphic works of the Soviet avant-garde artist Varvara Stepanova.
The Portal collection presents six models of shoes for women and includes versatile white sneakers, feminine shoes with steady heels, classic ballet shoes and mules. Simple geometric shapes, contrasting colors, striped prints are characteristic for the design of models.
The presentation of collections of Russian designers created based on the works of Soviet avant-garde artists of the early 20 century is a hallmark of the Section store in GUM. The store, located in the very tourist spot of the capital, in close proximity to Red Square, is designed to present a new Russian fashion, to which, as once a Russian avant-garde, interest in the West has recently been growing.
"Section" strives to meet the tourist demand in two directions at once - offers to get acquainted with new designers and fashion designers of Russia and "treats" them to their long-loved unique Soviet avant-garde art. The books and photo albums collected in the Section are also called upon to become an alternative to the usual souvenirs and provide an opportunity to understand from what environment Russian fashion has grown. The store features more than 50 domestic brands, including Annette Hoffmann, Outlaw Moscow, Two Balls, Dawn and others.
Portal - Russian brand of women's shoes of the mid-price segment of the Porta 9 shoe concept store. The brand's collections feature the latest trends and unusual models, as well as basic options that will fit into any wardrobe.
Presentation of the Portal x Capsule Collection section in the Section store in GUM took place on April 4. On sale, it appeared on April 5 in Portal stores in Tsvetnoy, Metropolis, Aviapark in the Porta 9 store in Moscow and in the Section.
