According to Highsnobiety experts, the new men's shoes are also influenced by Raf Simons, who has been co-creative director of the brand since 2020. In particular, in sneakers, these are contrasting textures and color schemes that echo the adidas Ozweegos famous collaboration of the Belgian designer.
However, Prada's F/W 2023 sneakers are based on the Prada America's Cup, which was first released for the Prada Luna Rossa sailing team during the 1997 America's Cup race and relaunched as a retro shoe in 2021.
