The luxury brand Prada plans to expand its presence on the Internet in collaboration with the major multi-brand online retailers Net-a-porter and Mytheresa.com. This was reported on the WWD website.
Bags, shoes, leather accessories, clothing from the brand’s fall collection will be available to consumers at two new online venues from July 15. Starting in September, the brand’s products will also be sold on the website of the luxury male multi-brand retailer Mr Porter.
Representatives of Prada announced that they plan to double the volume of online sales of their brand in the next two years. Currently, this volume is small - Prada sells its products only through the sites of the American large luxury department stores Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue.
Prada Group's net profit in the 2015 fiscal year decreased by 26,6% and amounted to € 330,89 million, revenue also decreased by 0,1% compared to the previous year to € 3,55 billion.
