Light industry enterprises will receive up to 4 billion rubles

The Ministry of Industry and Trade proposed to provide state guarantees to light industry enterprises with a volume of up to four billion rubles a year on loans for at least five years to modernize and create new industries.

According to Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, at a meeting with Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev in Ivanovo, the ministry is preparing a strategy for the development of the light industry, which will be presented to the government. The document focuses on the technological renewal of the industry, for which two types of subsidies are provided - for loans for technical re-equipment and for the creation of new industries.
