At the end of September, inspectors at the Poltavka customs station in Ussuriysk customs during the inspection found tags from the citizen of China with the image of the UGG Australia trademark in the amount of 12 600 pieces that could later be used in the manufacture of shoes.
“The total weight of the detained goods amounted to more than eight kilograms. This is a rather rare case of an individual importing goods with signs of counterfeiting, ”said Natalya Kurdyukova, public relations specialist at Ussuriysk Customs
Due to the fact that the tags were not only not declared, but also not declared during an oral survey, an administrative case was filed against the Chinese under the article “non-declaration or unreliable declaration of goods and vehicles”.
Since the beginning of July, Ussuri customs officers have identified about 34 thousand counterfeit goods, writes Komsomolskaya Pravda.
