Brand sales in the second quarter increased by 12%

Shoe company Crocs released its second quarter 2012 financials. In the period ending June 30, the company's sales rose 12% over the same period last year, from $ 295,6 million to $ 330,9 million.

For the company, this is the highest level of sales growth in a three-month period in history. In the third quarter, the company expects to receive revenue of $ 300 million.

Net income in the second quarter of 2012 year amounted to $ 61,5 million, last year this figure was $ 55,5 million.

Sales growth in the second quarter was supported by good results in Asia and the American continents, while in Europe, on the contrary, there was a decline. In the Americas, sales rose 10,9% and in Asia, 20,5%. And in Europe, the figure fell by 5,2%.

Wholesale sales grew by 7,3% on an annualized basis, from $ 175,8 million to 188,5 million. Retail sales grew by 22,6% - from $ 91,8 million to $ 112,5 million. According to the results for the second quarter, 484 had retail stores, whereas a year ago this the figure was 397.
