In May of this year, the full-length digital film Detective Pikachu was released on Russian screens. The wide distribution of the film in Russia should support the sale of the capsule collection of Geox children's shoes, the design of which uses images of heroes from the Pokemon universe.
The collection with Pokemon first appeared in the Geox line of children's shoes a year ago, already then it was preparing for the release of the film "Detective Pikachu" in wide distribution. However, the film was delayed. In the spring-summer season 2019, the collection's output will also be supported by the entertainment industry. The Pokemon by Geox capsule in the 2019 spring-summer season includes 9 models. In addition to the striking design, the shoes of the children's collection boast branded “breathing” properties characteristic of the shoes of the Italian brand. Sneakers have a “breathable” upper made of eco-leather and high-tech breathable textiles.
The shoes are equipped with a patented perforated sole with a built-in waterproof membrane. Thanks to this combination, a constant circulation of air around the foot is ensured, and the child's legs remain dry even at the moment of high physical activity, when he runs or plays outdoor games. Removable insoles provide added comfort when walking. The microporous membrane used by Geox allows the foot to breathe and does not leak water.
The sole is made of lightweight and durable EVA material, and the outsole is made of slip-resistant rubber. Built-in LEDs are turned on and off by pressing the button located at the top of the tongue.
Five models for boys are made in bright color combinations: red and black, blue and yellow, gray and bright blue, black and aquamarine. Four models for girls include gentle combinations: a light turquoise mixes with silver, and white with pink gold and fuchsia.
Images of the five main characters involved in Detective Pikachu are used in shoe design: Pikachu, Dzhuglipuf, Snorlaks, Meowth and Ivy.
